Laughing Wild

Rugantino Theatre / Planet Art Theatre

Laughing Wild is a 1987 play written by the award-winning American playwright and actor Christopher Durang, and it originates from his own stand-up comedy performance. It was adapted later to a play that ironically and critically speaks about American society in the late 1980s of the previous century.

Laughing Wild

Croatian staging, adapted by Marko Torjanac, turns the show into a satirical fantasy, while the content is replaced by recognizable Croatian context that critically talks about Croatia of today. Two main characters of this play pose extremely serious questions about our reality from our imaginary future, all filled with humour and wit.
