Poetry evening of the 64th Split Summer Festival is dedicated to contemporary female Split authors and an opportunity to present three different poetic sensibilities and styles.

Scientist and librarian Nada Topić, known for her three poetry books, is also acknowledged as an author of scientific monography Morpurgo Bookstore in Split and known for her book of short prose Little Things. Her book Meteorology of the Body was shortlisted for both Risto Ratković and Tin Ujević Prizes in 2015. and her last book Myriad and other singulars is also well-received. Ivana Čagalj, translator and one of the editors of the magazine Mogućnosti, is known as a winner of Anđelko Novaković Prize in 2016 and an author of poetry book Parallax. Her poetry deals with matters of language, body and home. She is now employed as a lecture at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Katja Grcić is a translator, an interpreter and author of two poetry books, Load-bearing Walls and Summer. She also writes short prose and drama texts and in 2017 she made in Sedmica Prize shortlist for prose, an award announced by the Croatian literary web-site Critical Mass.
