Drama programme

Variety of esthetics, diferent genres, voyage through four centuries of drama literature, from big ensemble performances to monodrama expressions, from popular theater to artifcial super-stylized; great theater names on the stage side by side with the students of Split Art Academy – guarantee a theater program for all type of audience.

Drama program of 55th Split Summer Festival includes two home premiere productions and seven guest performances. It will be held at four diferent places: Diocletian’s Palace Basement, Carrrara Square, Croatian National Theater Split premises and Lučica Spinut. Esthetically speaking this drama program varies from classical theater to popular home-made theater, contemporary British documentary drama, Croatian heritage, world classics, Croatian urban physical theater, as well as re-interpretation of Croatian classics.
