Full text of the call for performance applications:
In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Status, Organisation, and Financing of the Festival of Croatian Drama “Marulić Days”, the 36th Marulić Days Festival will be held in the second half of April 2026.
All Croatian theatres (registered in the Theatre Register of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia) and foreign theatres are eligible to apply.
In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations:

Theatres may submit an unlimited number of performances based on texts by Croatian authors.

The submitted performances must have premiered in 2025.

For performances with a planned premiere by December 31, 2025, the date and venue of the performance must be specified.

The organiser and producer of the Festival, the Croatian National Theatre Split, will cover the accommodation costs in Split and up to two overnight stays for all ensembles of the selected performances that will be staged in the official competition program.

As the organiser, HNK Split will also provide technical support for rehearsals and performances during the Festival, within the limits of its staff and technical capacities.

By applying to the Festival, theatres confirm that they accept the stated conditions.
