“The play approaches the event from three different perspectives, three experiences. The first is sincere: experiencing the death of a loved one. The second is illusory, a subjective experience of one’s own dying in moments of mortal agony. The third experience is manipulative, the perspective of power on the death of someone who challenges that power. From the perspective of power, death is a commodity, and—if profit cannot be extracted from it—it must be treated in a marketing sense to compensate for the loss suffered in the trade of interests,” said the author and director at the premiere.

A strong artistic contribution to the play was made by underground musician and artist Damir Avdić Graha, who created the evocative stage music. The cast features actors from HNK Split: Luka Čerjan in the title role, Katarina Romac, Andrea Mladinić, Tajana Jovanović, Zdeslav Čotić, and Marija Šegvić.

After the performance on Wednesday, October 1, the play will be staged again the following day. Both performances begin at 7:30 PM.
