Ahead of the premiere of the drama play "The Fox" by Dubravka Ugrešić at the 71st Split Summer Festival, in which he stars, Burić had a one-hour conversation with the podcast editor and host Davor Vuković. They discussed the upcoming premiere directed and dramatized by Ivica Buljan, his experiences in the most significant alternative theatre of the 70s and 80s, and his subsequent acting career that has led him to become one of the most respected actors on the global film scene.

"The Fox is an interesting, multi-layered piece of literature, like a leap into whirlpools; with each circle, we discover something new," Burić says about the play, where his partner is Snježana Sinovčić Šiškov, the lead actress of the Croatian National Theatre Split's Drama. Regarding Dubravka Ugrešić: "I've always felt her as part of that bubbling, same energy and interest, playing with art. She shared a lot with us at Kugla Glumišta; we were sailors on the same ship. She was close to us and important to us during that time."

Burić also talks about his beginnings in film, his impressive acting career, and how he now works with some of the biggest stars on the international film scene.

The premiere of "Lisica" is scheduled for July 31st at the ambient stage of Vila Dalmacija during the 71st Split Summer Festival.
