Snowdrop is a lonely woman in her forties who, while anxiously awaiting a medical examination and fearing the worst outcome, revisits moments from her life uniquely and comically—moments that have left a mark on her and that she now connects with the potential illness of her body. An unusual child—introverted, always with a book, never with other children—Snowdrop was always somewhat frightened by the world around her, and never truly accepted by it. Over time, she believed hiding and waiting for life to pass her by was best. Now, when she feels her end may be near, something new begins to awaken within her.
In a world with a growing number of lonely and unaccepted individuals, where everything is advancing except the human essence, which is rooted in connection and the feeling of being accepted, more and more people carry within them a little Snowdrop who, if she could, would live an entirely different life. The permission for such a life will never come from outside; she must give it to herself and remember that, at her core, she is a harbinger of spring.
"Do you know what the most beautiful thing in life is? Desire, my friend."
